ReVision Energy’s pre-apprenticeship program is training new Mainers, including asylum seekers and refugees, for jobs in renewable energy. Over eight weeks, participants receive training in safety, electrical work, and solar panel installation, gaining essential skills for employment.
The initiative also offers support in resume building, interview preparation, and job placement services, aiming to help participants secure meaningful employment opportunities in the solar industry. In fact, last year 60% of the program’s participants who sought a career in renewable energy found employment!
