After 16 transformative years, Amy Schectman will retire as CEO of 2Life Communities in October 2026, passing the torch to current President Lizbeth Heyer. Under Schectman’s leadership, 2Life doubled its housing portfolio to over 1,800 apartments and launched the innovative Opus model. Heyer, instrumental in 2Life’s growth since 2014, will continue championing joyful, dignified aging for older adults across Massachusetts.
