After nearly 30 years helping nonprofits tell their stories through traditional media, Teak Media wanted to connect our clients directly with influencers, who are adding their voices to the news conversation and changing how people find those stories.

This past month, we hosted our first Changemaker Soirée at Rochambeau in Back Bay. The event brought together Boston-area content creators and leaders from the nonprofits we represent, so the people driving social progress could meet the people who influence what communities care about.

We had a ton of fun, and here are some photos from the night.

We hosted 60 of our clients and selected influencers from the Boston area at Rochambeau for a night so that our clients, who drive social progress, could meet the influencers who can amplify their story.

Doors opened at 5:30 p.m. and the room filled up fast.

Fitness and travel influencer Shannon Moen (@shannon_moen) chats with Teak Media social media and marketing manager Hayley McManus.

Boston artist Matthew Dickey (@streetscapecurator) speaks with Women’s Money Matters Interim Executive Director Rachel Borgatti.

Guests finished the sentence “I’m a changemaker for…” with the causes they care about, from youth and housing to equity and the arts.

The team behind the evening and who share stories that drive change in our city. Thank you, Teak team!
