This is equal footing,” says Kinari Webb, founder of Health In Harmony. “We are giving a gift to communities, but they are giving us an even bigger gift by protecting tropical rainforests.” Unlike traditional NGO and climate finance programs, Health In Harmony’s Rainforest Exchange promotes conservation and forest regeneration solutions developed for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs), by IPLCs, and enables donors to directly support them.
