Nearly 60% of college students nationwide experience basic needs insecurity—and Roxbury Community College is stepping up. The Rox Box campus food pantry has become a lifeline for RCC students, serving over 300 students monthly with free groceries, diapers, and personal care essentials. With 1,700 visits from September to December alone, the need is clear. The pantry is funded entirely by the community and led by someone who once relied on it herself, showing students there’s always a path forward.
